To increase the number of underserved ethnic minority and all female students who pursue coursework, advanced study and possible careers in Math, Engineering and Science. The WSD MESA Program supports ALL students who enter MESA.

Field Trips for students to provide real world experiences in Math, Engineering and Science
Competitions in Math, Engineering and Science: Junior Clubs are currently participating the SEAPERCH competition an underwater robotics competition where students design, build and compete with their robot against other students in an underwater challenge. High school Clubs are participating in Prosthetic Arm 2.0. Student design, build, and compete by creating a cost effective working prosthetic arm. 2.0 means this year students will be designing their arms on the computer, and printing them on 3-D printers.
